Synchronization of oscillators not sharing a common ground

چکیده
Networks of coupled LC oscillators that do not share a common ground node are studied. Both resistive coupling and inductive considered. For networks under coupling, it is shown the oscillator-coupler interconnection has to be bilayer if oscillator voltages asymptotically synchronize. Also, for architecture (when both couplers present) method proposed compute complex-valued effective Laplacian matrix represents overall coupling. It proved display synchronous behavior only single eigenvalue on imaginary axis.

Synchronization and desynchronization of self-sustained oscillators by common noise.
We consider the effect of external noise on the dynamics of limit cycle oscillators. The Lyapunov exponent becomes negative under influence of small white noise, what means synchronization of two or more identical systems subject to common noise. We analytically study the effect of small non-identities in the oscillators and in the noise, and derive statistical characteristics of deviations fro...

We study the stability of self-sustained oscillations under the influence of external noise. For small-noise amplitude a phase approximation for the Langevin dynamics is valid. A stationary distribution of the phase is used for an analytic calculation of the maximal Lyapunov exponent. We demonstrate that for small noise the exponent is negative, which corresponds to synchronization of oscillato...
متن کاملSynchronization of oscillators through time-shifted common inputs.
Shared upstream dynamical processes are frequently the source of common inputs in various physical and biological systems. However, due to finite signal transmission speeds and differences in the distance to the source, time shifts between otherwise common inputs are unavoidable. Since common inputs can be a source of correlation between the elements of multi-unit dynamical systems, regardless ...
متن کاملSynchronization of uncoupled oscillators by common gamma impulses: From phase locking to noise-induced synchronization.
Nonlinear oscillators can mutually synchronize when they are driven by common external impulses. Two important scenarios are (i) synchronization resulting from phase locking of each oscillator to regular periodic impulses and (ii) noise-induced synchronization caused by the Poisson random impulses, but their difference has not been fully quantified. Here, we analyze a pair of uncoupled oscillat...
متن کاملExperimental Huygens synchronization of oscillators
We present an experimental set-up that allows to study both controlled and uncontrolled synchronization between a variety of different type of oscillators. The setup consists of two fully actuated mass-damper-spring oscillators mounted on an actuated platform. By means of different types of feedback realized through computer controlled actuation it is possible to demonstrate different synchroni...
